First Impression: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (PC)

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD

I've been a long-time fan of Final Fantasy (FF) games ever since playing my first FF game, Final Fantasy VII, for the PlayStation way way back. I've always enjoyed the awesome CG cutscene animations, FMVs, and 3-D rendered graphics of the environment and characters. And let's not forget the spectacular story-line that makes an FF game truly magnificent.

The International Wild Card Predictions

The International 2015 Dota 2 Championships (TI) has come once again to test every team's mettle in the biggest Dota 2 tournament the world has ever seen. Ever since the great TI4 shuffle, new teams emerged to become powerhouses whilst old teams crumble and succumbed to powerful ones.

Will we see last year's TI Champion Newbee win their second championship this year? Or will we see a new team take home the Aegis of Champions this TI?

Being Hospitable

I'm not sure where people get this so-called "Filipinos are hospitable" idea. I've practically grew up in the Philippines and to be honest, I've never experienced this "hospitality". I'm not gonna lie but I do think that Taiwanese are more hospitable than anyone else. They treat other people better, go out of their way to help them when in need, even utter strangers are no exception to their special treatment.

I met an Englishman the other day at the hostel where I stayed here in Taipei, and from our long talk I've learned that  he's been living in the Philippines for 2 or so years out of 3 years since he left his beloved England back in 2010. I've never met someone, especially a foreigner, who is enthusiastic about the Filipino culture, admires the Filipino way of life, appreciates Filipino beauty, and just love the Philippines in general.

The Red House

The Red House

Built in 1908 during the Japanese rule of the island in Ximending area at Taipei's Wanhua District, this western-style red-brick structure was originally built as a market building that housed goods sold to the wealthy public.
